Love goes toward love, as schoolboys from their books,
But love from love, toward school with heavy looks.
“Romeo and Juliet" is an immortal, timeless story. A classic that's always modern.
Ripped apart by the bitter divisions of their parents, two young people will risk everything to be together. The most famous story of love at first sight explodes with intense passion and an irresistible desire for change.
In the production directed by Ealeal Semmel, Romeo is a 15-year-old orphaned street boy, whose idea of love is his only way out of the daily reality of violence and crime. Juliet, a 14-year-old seemingly stable girl, forcibly betrothed by her parents to a family friend.
The two young lovers find the meaning of life and meet death.
The premiere took place in 2022
